Biblioteca literària (1918-1924)

A collection by Editorial Catalana of translated narrative which aimed to incorporate masterpieces from around the world into the Catalan language, via direct translation by prestigious authors such as, Josep Carner and Carles Riba. Homer, Virgil, Molière, William Shakespeare, Edgar Allan Poe, Charles Dickens amd Mark Twain were some of the authors published. In 1923 the titles from the Biblioteca Catalana collection were incorporated. From 1924, the collection was continued by the bookshop and publishing house, Catalònia.
