Access and Documents Supply Service (SAIOD)
Tasks and functions
It manages, plans and evaluates the users services -virtual and at the library- with the aim of offering them a quality service. It takes care of maintaining an updated reference collection and contributes to the selection of documents to support research, especially on humanities and Catalan scope.
Who works in the Access and Documents Supply Service
History
Since 1914 the BC has always been opened to users. The consultation service has been always present, even though it had several denominations. The current name born by the Decree 300/1995 of structure of the Biblioteca de Catalunya.
