Bohigas, Pere, 1901-2003

Pere Bohigas i Balaguer (Vilafranca del Penedès, 1901- Barcelona, 2003). Linguist and researcher, he was the Head of the Department of Manuscripts at the Biblioteca de Catalunya (1931-1971, reinstated in 1942) and a professor at the Escola de Bibliotecàries (School of Librarians).

The Biblioteca de Catalunya holds his collection which contains a some of his received correspondence and notes related to his work as a curator at the Biblioteca de Catalunya.
