This area is dedicated to the consultation of documents from the 19th century on, with various formats: books, newspapers, magazines, audio and video recordings.
The users may obtain those documents after having them searched on the reading room computers, which also provide access to catalogues of other libraries, subscription databases, office technology and internet. The Biblioteca de Catalunya offers free connection to all users and scholars equipped with a laptop computer through a wireless network.
