Adolf Mas i Ginestà (Solsona, 1860 - Barcelona, 1936) was a pioneer of photojournalism and a photographer during the Modernisme period in Catalonia. The subject of his photographs is art, architecture, archaeology and landscape.
Mas worked for both public and private institutions and earned many prestigious commissions. He created the Arxiu Mas (Mas Archive) and his cultural legacy is an invaluable source of information to scholars of Catalan Modernisme.
