Joan Maragall i Gorina (Barcelona, 1860-1911). A poet, journalist, essayist and lawyer, he was a key writer of Catalan literature at the turn of the nineteenth century. Winner of the Floral Games in 1881, 1894, 1896 and 1904, he was also named a Mestre en Gai Saber. He left an extensive literary collection.
