Marià Aguiló i Fuster (Palma, 1825 - Barcelona, 1897). Poet, bibliographer and linguist. He was dedicated to research in the field of languages, folklore and bibliography. He worked as a librarian and as a poet, folklorist and scholar, he was a leading figure of the Renaixença. The Biblioteca de Catalunya holds his personal papers, containing manuscripts and old books.
