Ramon d'Abadal i de Vinyals (Vic, 1888- Barcelona, 1970). Catalan historian and politician. He entered the world of politics in 1917 when he joined the Lliga Regionalista de Catalunya (Regionalist League of Catalonia), which he returned to in 1931 following his period as the head of Acció Catalana (Catalan Action), founded by Ramon d'Abadal in 1922. He was a director of the Veu de Catalunya (Voice of Catalonia) and contributed to the recovery of the Institut d'Estudis Catalans (Institute of Catalan Studies) during the Franco dictatorship.

His work and contribution to the scientific research of medieval history in Catalonia stand out. Some of his works are:
