Torres Amat, Fèlix, 1772-1847

Fèlix Torres Amat (Sallent, 1772-Madrid, 1847). He was a Catalan clergyman, literary historian and Hellenist.

The Biblioteca de Catalunya holds the Torres Amat family collection, developed by the Biblioteca de la casa Torres de Sallent, which contains more than 4,300 volumes, manuscripts including academic work, some estate documentation, academic and family correspondence and personal documents.
