Joaquim Maria Bover de Rosselló (Sevilla, 1810 - Ciutat de Mallorca, 1865) was a nineteenth century Mallorcan polygraph. Interested in Mallorcan history, traditions and culture, he published Miscelánea erudita mayoricense, in 18 volumes. As a prolific historian, poet, collector and antiquarian, among other things, he was made a member of the Reial Acadèmia de Bones Lletres de Barcelona (Barcelona Royal Academy of Fine Arts) and the Reial Acadèmia de la Història de Madrid (Madrid Royal Academy of History). His works cover many themes, be they historical, bibliographic or relating to Mallorcan nobility.
