Acquisition Service
Tasks and functions
It manages, plans and executes the acquisitions by purchase, donation and exchange in collaboration with the units and sections, in order to build an updated collection of reference and to support research, especially on humanities and Catalan scope.
History
Service created the year 1995 by the Decree 300/1995 of structure of the Biblioteca de Catalunya. It was previously called Secció de Registre.
